
AGHA MBA APPLAUDS GOVERNOR SOLUDO UNVEILING OF ANAMBRA HOMELAND SECURITY LAW AND LAUNCHING OF “OPERATION UDO GA-ACHI”
In a major bid to tackle the security challenges facing Anambra State, Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has unveiled the Anambra Homeland Security Law 2025 and launched a special security operation code-named “Operation Udo Ga-Achi”.
The commissioner for youth Development, Mr Patrick Agha Mba laud the Governor, who signed the Homeland Security Law 2025, stated that the law provides a framework for community/citizens’ ownership and participation in sustainable security and social re-engineering. He declared this speaking with Journalists at the unveiling and launching of the special security operation code-named “Operation Udo Ga-Achi” event held at the ICC Awka
According to Agha Mba , the Governor did not only launch the “Operation Udo Ga-Achi” which is a special intervention force that complements regular policing, and is designed to upscale intelligence gathering, but also will reward whistle-blowers to enhance rapid response, and urgently root out criminals from every camp in Anambra State.
The commissioner disclosed that the security challenges facing the state are complex and hydra-headed, requiring a comprehensive and sustainable response. He emphasized that the Power of one Man is determined to fight criminality and ensure that Anambra becomes the safest state in Nigeria.
The commissioner advise youth to embrace the state government’s extension of hand of friendship and amnesty to kidnappers, cultists, drug dealers, and other categories of criminals, urging them to surrender their arms and embrace rehabilitation. He also told the Youth of Anambra State, to queue in to Mr Governor’s programme for Youth development especially the 1Youth 2Skills Solution to have a new re-leave of their life. He stress that it is better for them to drop their guns and other criminal verses and join what Mr Governor is prepared to do for them
